Thing 2- 7 1/2 Habits
7 1/2 habits was an interesting outlook. I agree with 1/2 called PLAY.... you have got play with the tools that you use in your toolbox or else they just get dusty! Plainly speaking....these cool resources that we are learning are great...however you make them better by teaching with them and allowing your students to get the benefits of discovery by using them in class.

Playing is essential to learning.I agree with you that you have to play around with it and discover how it works. The more I plyed with the "Things," the more I learned.

You are right about your tools getting dusty if you don't play with them. I have really enjoyed 23 Things but feel like I am rushing through it in summer school. I have a very boring office job this year. However I am going to make good use of my time and play with all the new tools I've been introduced to with 23 Things. Perhaps through playing, I will finally become a tech-savvy 21st century librarian.
